December 2017 Day Tours
12/2 L.A. Farmer’s Market and The Grove (Christmas season special!) $59

Spend 4 ½ hours at the colorful and historical Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles! It’s still the best grocery store in L.A., but many fans believe it’s the food stalls, not the groceries, which make it such a hit. Cuisines from all over the world are offered, and the atmosphere is lively. Behind Farmer’s Market lies “The Grove,” which boasts great stores, including Nordstrom. Lots of loading space on the bus….There are also dancing fountains, a variety of restaurants and outdoor cafes, and even a movie theatre. In December, festive holiday lights create a winter wonderland, and the tall Christmas tree on display must be seen to be believed!

12/5 “Festival of Lights” at the Mission Inn $49

Discover the Spanish-style Riverside Mission Inn and thrill at its annual Festival of Lights, a colorful display of over 2 million lights in all shapes and sizes, along with an assortment of animated characters and sculptures which decorate the entire façade. Main Street is filled with musicians and strolling carolers, as well as restaurants and cafes. Free time to enjoy supper at an eaterie of your choice before returning back to the desert.

An American Christmas at the
Ronald Reagan Library

The holidays come alive at the Reagan Library! Enjoy a tour through our winter wonderland featuring 25 trees decorated to celebrate the defining moments of America’s road to greatness, from the Revolutionary Era to today. Each tree reflects the life and times of American society and culture during each decade between 1700 and 2010 and beyond, thus tracing the evolution of America. Through the use of lights, ornaments and decorations, each tree becomes its own piece of magnificent art. Also on display will be a collection of beautiful hand-crafted Menorahs that were given to President Reagan while in the White House. No host lunch at the Library.
