7/11 Puerto Nuevo Lobster Village

Journey with us down the coastline of Baja, Mexico for some colorful shopping and a traditional Puerto Nuevo-style lobster lunch in the cobblestone seaside village of Puerto Nuevo. Your day begins with a visit to the Rosarito Beach Hotel, a historic landmark and former hideaway for Hollywood celebrities vacationing in Mexico. Enjoy shopping for colorful curios and Mexican souvenirs in the nearby open-air bazaar, or relax with a cocktail at the seaside hotel. Next, we continue on to the internationally known lobster village of Puerto Nuevo, a charming fishing town that boasts over 30 lobster restaurants within its four block area. You’ll enjoy a welcome margarita and savor a traditional Mexican-style lobster tail lunch complete with tortilla soup, Spanish rice, refried beans and fresh tortillas at the beautiful Villa Ortega’s Restaurant, perched high on the bluffs with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. On the return trip, we’ll stop at a Mexican bakery where you can purchase Mexican baked goodies! Note: A valid passport is required on this tour.

Your choice! We’re taking you to San Diego’s bustling downtown harbor, where you will have over four hours to tour the U.S.S Midway, shop and dine in Seaport Village, or opt to go to Balboa Park, home of museums and the San Diego Zoo.

 
7/21 Ho’olaule’a Hawaiian Festival and Redondo Beach Pier $75

Travel with us to Lawndale, between Long Beach and Santa Monica, and experience the authentic culture of the Hawaiian Islands when we attend the 37th annual HO’OLAULE’A (ho-o-lau-lay-ah) Hawaiian Festival. This unique festival features boutique South Pacific-themed arts & crafts booths, games, hula classes and dancing, vendors dishing up an array of island cuisine, prize drawings and continuous Polynesian entertainment on multiple stages featuring various genres of Hawaiian music, singers and dancers. After the festival we’ll visit the historic Redondo Beach Pier at Fisherman’s Wharf where you’ll have time on your own to enjoy a scenic stroll and take in the panoramic ocean views, or indulge in some shopping at the unique specialty boutiques dotted along the pier. It’s your “Day by the Sea,” where you can relax and enjoy the cool ocean air in one of southern California’s most beautiful and majestic beach cities. La Jolla offers a varied selection of shopping and dining venues, events and attractions, including the Birch Aquarium at the Scripps Institute. Which you may opt to visit while you are there.

Booking and cancellation policies:  Reserving space on a day tour (as well as multiple- day trips posted on our Day Tour menu) is simple—phone our office and indicate how many spaces you would like.  No money is required when making a booking, unless the trip is within two weeks of operation.  Canceling before payment is collected incurs no penalty.  All cancellations after payment is made incur a 5% processing fee.  For cancellations made less than 15 days before a trip operates, amount of refund will depend on whether tickets, meals, and extra costs were incurred in procuring the reservations.  Cancellations less than a week of tour date—no refund or credit.
