Day 1: LOS ANGELES/PAPEETE, TAHITI. Your exciting vacation begins today when you board your afternoon flight from LAX to Tahiti, arriving in Papeete, the capital, in the early evening. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your 1st Class hotel. SOFITEL TAHITI MAEVA BEACH RESORT.

Day 2: PAPEETE. Your resort is located on the only natural white beach in Tahiti and is surrounded by tropical gardens. Each of the Sofitel’s recently renovated, light-filled rooms boasts a private balcony. Facilities include two restaurants, bar, tennis courts, a golf driving range, and a heated freshwater swimming pool. After a sumptuous breakfast, you may opt to take an island tour, highlighting Tahiti’s history (Paul Gauguin, Mutiny on the Bounty) and culture (tropical market).
Day 3: PAPEETE/EMBARK SHIP. Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free for independent pursuits. In the afternoon, transfer to your luxury cruise ship, Royal Princess, and settle into your stateroom. Overnight in Papeete.

Day 4: PAPEETE/CRUISING. Today you can wander the colorful shopping streets of Papeete, or take a ferry to nearby Moorea for a wiki-wiki picnic. Set sail for the island of Huahine at 5:00 p.m.
Day 5: HUAHINE, FRENCH POLYNESIA. 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Huahine is the oldest settlement of the group of 14 islands comprising French Polynesia. In addition to diving and snorkeling excursions, you can visit restored temples and the archaeological site of ancient Maeva villages. (B,L,D)

Day 6: AT SEA. The 710 passenger Royal Princess, while small and intimate, is big in amenities, making it the perfect vessel to anchor in the islands of French Polynesia. Enjoy your day at sea!
Day 7: RANGIROA, FRENCH POLYNESIA 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Gray sharks, rays, and a large variety of reef fish await snorkelers and divers in this largest atoll of the Tuamotu Archipelago. Black pearl farms also proliferate on Rangiroa.
Day 8: AT SEA Enjoy the amenities of your ship on this day at sea.
Day 9: RAIATEA, SOCIETY ISLANDS, FRENCH POLYNESIA. 6:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. Raiateai is totally surrounded by a reef and has the only naviagable river in French Polynesia. The island offers lush green valleys, numerous waterfalls, and pineapple and vanilla plantations. Discover fascinating underwater scenery within Raiatea’s deep lagoon.
Day 10 & 11: BORA BORA, FRENCH POLYNESIA 8:00 a.m./5:00 p.m. Volcanic peaks dominate this small, unspoiled island surrounded by miles of aqua lagoons. Most tourists wander the shops, sun on snow-white beaches or swim in the crystalline waters. Besides diving and snorkeling, you can also rent a jeep, moped, or bicycle and travel the single road that circles the island.

Society Islands
Day 12: MOOREA, SOCIETY ISLANDS, FRENCH POLYNESIA. 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Dozens of mountain spires pierce the sky above this incredible tropical island, located just 11 miles from Tahiti. The island is a popular diving destination because of the frequent shark sightings during dives. You may also opt to take an island tour or visit a brandy distillery, or cruise around spectacular Cook’s Bay aboard a yacht.
Day 13: PAPEETE, TAHITI8:00 p.m. Disembark and transfer to the airport. Fly to Los Angeles, arriving in the morning the following
day, Day 14.
