Day 1: DEPART LOS ANGELES. your Swiss Air jet this evening and fly overnight to Zurich, Switzerland.

Day 2: ZURICH. Afternoon arrival in Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, situated on an Alpine lake. HOTEL ALLEGRA

Day 3: ZURICH/COPENHAGEN, DENMARK/ CRUISING. After breakfast, fly to Copenhagen, Denmark. Transfer to your ship and unpack once for the next ten nights aboard the Star Princess, one of Princess Cruises’ most luxurious vessels. Time permitting, visit the capital town immortalized by Hans Christian Andersen. Set sail at 7:00 p.m. (B, D)

Day 4: AT SEA. While cruising, enjoy endless amenities aboard your ship: three different showrooms offering Las Vegas, Broadway, and cabaret productions; 17 bars/lounges; a 13,500 sq. foot casino; and numerous restaurants. Day 5: STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN. 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. In Sweden’s capital, built on 14 islands, wander the cobbled Old Town streets of Gamla Stan, join a boat our of the city’s waterways, or visit the Royal Palace. (B,L,D)

Day 6: HELSINKI, FINLAND. 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Fourth of July in the Finnish capital offers wonderful opportunities to visit Market Square (sweeter berries cannot be found anywhere), Sibelius Park, and fascinating city sites. (B,L,D)

Day 7 & 8: ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA. 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. next day There is much to see: Peterhof Palace, with its cascading fountains; Catherine Palace (a.k.a. Pushkin), with its Amber room;St. Isaac’s Cathedral, with its shimmering dome covered in 200 pounds of pure gold; the icons at the Russian Museum; and the famous Hermitage Museum.(B,L,D)

Day 9: TALLINN, ESTONIA. 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Estonia’s splendidly preserved walled capital, with medieval spires, baroque cathedrals and cobblestone streets, is considered by many to be the most beautiful city in Northern Europe.(B,L,D)


Gdansk, Poland

Day 10: GDANSK (GDYNIA), POLAND. 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Shop for crystal, silver, amber, and arts and crafts in the historic center of Gdansk. Opt to travel to Kashubian lake district, where traditional medieval lifestyles continue,or pay a somber visit to former Stutthof Concentration Camp, the last prison to be liberated by the Allies. Day 11: AT SEA. Enjoy the amenities of your ship as you sail to Norway. (B,L,D)

Day 12: OSLO, NORWAY. 7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. In Norway’sscenic fjord capital, you can visit the Maritime Museum housing the Kon-Tiki raft, or the nearby Viking Ship Museum; or gasp at the artwork in Vigeland Sculpture Park. (B,L,D)

Day 13: COPENHAGEN/ZURICH. 5:00 a.m. Ample time this morning to visit sights including the famous “Little Mermaid” gracing the Danish capital’s harbor before your afternoon flight to Zurich.HOTEL ALLEGRA (B).
